Biography

Jon Huertas (born Jon William Hofstedt on October 23, 1976) is a Colombian actor. He is perhaps best known for his role as Joe Negroni in the film Why Do Fools Fall in Love? and homicide detective Javier Esposito in Castle. He is also well known for attending charity events held for the army. Jon’s career started in 1993 when he played an uncredited part in the The Webbers. He also was an after school director at John Burroughs Middle school for a year. Jon Huertas attended John Handley High School. He also served eight years in the U.S. Air Force and was involved in conflicts in the Desert Storm.
