A Deadly Affair
When the new season of "Castle" begins, Beckett hasn't heard from Castle since he left for the Hamptons months ago to finish writing his second Nikki Heat novel, "Naked Heat" (on sale September 28). The most Beckett, Ryan and Esposito have seen of Castle is a bookstore standee of him advertising an upcoming book signing. So when Beckett and her team burst into a shadowy apartment on the trail of a murderer, the last thing they expect to see is the real-life Castle standing over a dead woman's body holding a gun! As Castle protests his innocence, Beckett has no choice but to arrest him on suspicion of murder, on the Season Three premiere of "Castle."

Stana Katic

Biography

Stana Katic (born 26 April 1978) is a Canadian film and television actress active in the United States. She is best known as the current co-star of ABC’s Castle. Stana Jacqueline Katic was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada to Croatian parents who emigrated from Yugoslavia. Katic moved with her family to Aurora, Illinois. She spent the following years moving back and forth between Canada and the US. After graduating from West Aurora High School in 1996, she studied acting at Chicago’s Goodman School of Drama. In addition to English, she speaks Italian, French and Croatian. She has a mezzo-soprano singing voice. Stana played the character of Hana Gitelman in Heroes, Collette Stenger in 24′s season 5, and Jenny in the Morgan Freeman-starring film Feast of Love. She also played Morgenstern in Frank Miller’s film The Spirit, Corinne Veneau in the Bond movie Quantum of Solace, and Simone Renoir in the third installation of The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice. In August 2008, ABC announced acquisition of the television series Castle, starring Stana Katic as Kate Beckett and Nathan Fillion as Rick Castle. In 2008, Katic established her own production company, Sine Timore Productions, which is Latin and means “without fear.”
